We welcome you to our Empathy Academy Community!
For many years, I’ve been fortunate enough to develop a worldwide community of licensed Dynamic Emotional Integration® professionals who have become friends and family.
Their presence, empathy, humor, and emotional awareness have helped to grow our knowledge and the depth of our work, and they’ve been with me as I wrote and wrestled with the books I’ve written since we started the licensing program in 2015.
I often say that Dynamic Emotional Integration lives in our community, and I’m so fortunate that these wonderful people made their way to Empathy Academy.
But I’ve also felt conflicted
Our community has faced political upheaval, pandemic, personal losses, illnesses, and deaths, and we’ve come out stronger. I wanted other people to have access to this kind of emotional support in an empathic community.
Of course, we teach regular workshops and courses, but that isn’t a longstanding community.
We tried to do something for the public on Facebook, but the complete lack of privacy, the endless ads, and the fact that we were being monitored and data-mined at all times made me unwilling to invite people to be completely open on that platform.
I continually searched for a better venue where privacy and respect for members was a first priority.
Introducing the Empathy Academy Community on Circle!
Over the past few years, I’ve tried many, many platforms by joining many, many groups that interested me, and I got a feel for the strengths and weaknesses of the platforms. The best I found is called Circle, which has a kind of Facebook vibe to it, so it’s easy to learn and navigate.
We’re offering short workshops every week, community chat times, and a chance to connect with folks all over the world.
Our Empathy Academy Community is also completely private, and our members have enough knowledge about Dynamic Emotional Integration and my work to be supportive toward each other and toward the genius in our emotions.
